CT RoughRiders EHL’s Blake Halfpenny commits to Chatham University for Fall 2019

Norwalk, Connecticut – The Connecticut RoughRiders of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) defenseman Blake Halfpenny 98’, Alternate Captain from Eagle River, AK has committed to NCAA III's Chatham University (UCHC) in Pittsburgh, PA for the Fall of 2019.
Halfpenny has spent half of his junior career with the CT RoughRiders EHL team from 2017-2019 and has been a defensive staple for the team since his arrival.

“Halfpenny is a solid two-way defenseman for us with a tremendous day-to-day work ethic. He has a high compete level and moves the puck well up the ice. He has also been leader both on and off the ice.” said Head Coach Eric Lind.

We wish him the best of luck next season with the Chatham University Cougars. Congratulations to Blake and his family!
