"... a solid defensive defenseman for us with great powerful skating ability." - Eric Lind

Norwalk, Connecticut – The Connecticut RoughRiders of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) forward Stephen Pantera 97’, from Hamden, CT has committed to NCAA III's Franklin Pierce University (Northeast-10) in Rindge, NH for the Fall of 2018.

Pantera spent his junior career with the CT RoughRiders from 2016-2018 and has been a defensive staple for the team.

“Stephen was a solid defensive defenseman for us with great powerful skating ability. He had a high work rate and very good passing skills in moving the puck up ice.” Head Coach Eric Lind said. “He played an aggressive brand of hockey, especially around the crease and was successful for us as shutdown defenseman.”

We wish him the best of luck next season with the Franklin Pierce University Ravens. Congratulations to Stephen and his family!
