Norwalk, Connecticut – The Connecticut RoughRiders of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) defenseman James Gregory from Darien CT has committed to the NCAA III's Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY, members of the UCHC (United Collegiate Hockey Conference) for the Fall of 2020.

Gregory is a local product from Darien, CT. Before playing juniors, he was an All-State First Team Defenseman at Darien High School, CT.
James made immediate impact for the RoughRiders where he quickly adapted to the pace of junior hockey playing a critical role on defense and was a major piece of the teams powerplay.

“James is a skilled defenseman with nice offensive skills and solid shot from the point. He was excellent quarterbacking the powerplay and is able to log big minutes. He also has good vision and as has excellent first pass.” said CT RoughRiders Head Coach Eric Lind.

We wish him the best of luck next season with the Manhattanville Valiants where he will join Andrew Bella, Connor Boyce and Alex Rowella. Congratulations to James and his family!
