Norwalk, Connecticut – The Connecticut RoughRiders of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) center and Captain Thomas Schwartz from Ridgefield, CT has committed to the NCAA II's Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH members of the Northeast-10 Conference (Northeast-10) for the Fall of 2020.

Schwartz played seven seasons with our CT RoughRiders junior and midget programs. He is a prime example of a successful Long-Term Developmental Program product with the organization.

“Tommy has a quick release and can get it off effortlessly in stride. He has great hands in tight and excels in the cycle style game where he is excellent on his skating edges and can turn on a dime.” said CT RoughRiders Head Coach Eric Lind.

“He is a true team player with an extraordinary effort level on the ice. He is a playmaker who can control the pace of the game combined with a dangerous snapshot.” said CT RoughRiders Associate Head Coach Steven Brown.

We wish him the best of luck next season with the Hawks along with two other RoughRiders from this season Will Christensen and Connor Snowdy. Congratulations to Tommy and his family!
