Norwalk, Connecticut – The Connecticut RoughRiders of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) defenseman Grey Owens from Greenwich, CT has committed to the NCAA III's Babson College in Babson Park, MA, members of the NEHC (New England Hockey Conference) for the Fall of 2020.

Owens is finishing his second year of juniors after playing prep school hockey at Avon Old Farms in Avon, CT.

Grey was selected on the Eastern Hockey League’s All-Star Team this season, as well as EHL Defensive “Player of the Month” for December.

“Grey certainly has a nice toolbox of skills. He is is a transitional offensive minded defenseman who skates very well, is quick and agile, and can generate offense from the backend." said CT RoughRiders Associate Head Coach Steven Brown.

We wish him the best of luck next season with the Babson Beavers. Congratulations to Grey and his family!
